The Band

Blame Betty formed in early 2005 as the result of a group of friends' love for hard-rockin' female-fronted rock & punk bands, including one of the greatest bands of all times - Betty Blowtorch.  We began as a riot grrrl tribute band. But now, well into our third year, our focus is on creating Blame Betty original songs, and occasionally mixing in some awesome covers.

Ray
Bass/Vocals

Ray is Sacramento area born and raised. He's a smartass who keeps band practice fun and full of laughter. Ray is a bit of a metal head, likes all kinds of rock & roll, and enjoys hard core punk too.

Brooke
Guitar/Vocals

Brooke is Santa Cruz born and raised, but has been in the Sacramento area a long, long time. Brooke is the founder of Blame Betty. She loves to laugh and make people laugh. She listens mostly to rock & punk bands with female singers, and credits Joan Jett with influencing her to play.

Jason
Drums

Jason is a South Lake Tahoe to Sacramento transplant. You'll never meet anyone nicer than Jason, though I guess that ruins his rock & roll image. Jason likes a lot of different rock music, from punk to metal, and is often introducing the band to new groups. 

Matt
Guitar

Matt is from lots of places. But he left his heart in San Francisco. Matt is the quiet type, but he has a killer sense of humor hiding beneath. And holy crap, he sure knows how to play that guitar! Matt's favorite band is The Clash.
